The Advanced Search takes you right to our search page (1). Select the type of
search you wish to perform (2), then type in what you are looking for in the box
(3). Finally click the Go Button (9). The results will then be displayed in
ranked alphabetical order and will perform like the rest of our online catalog.
The following is a description of the search options
- Full Text (4): This is the default search type
- Title (5): Searches for any word in just the title (i.e. manufacturer, model
or name/type of machine). This results in a more narrowed search.
- Machine ID (6): Type in the item number into the search box (3) to search
for just that one individual item. The item number can be found at the top right
of any item beside the title.
- Manufacturer (7): Searches just for manufacturers matching the text you
entered into the search box (3)
- Model (8): Just matches the text you typed into the search box (3) against
the specific models
If you want the broadest possible search, leave the search criteria set to
the default "Full Text" (although this may result in a inordinately large number
of results). The search text you enter is not case sensitive; you can use both
upper and lowercase letters. Do not type in plural such as "Moulders", instead
type in singular "Moulder".
